About Moohan
He conducts instructor training for our full time staff on a weekly basis, and oversees the student belt testing process for both color belt and black belt exams. He personally developed the curriculum taught in our academy and designed it to be a balance of traditional Tae Kwon Do forms, practical self-defense, Olympic Style sparring skills and Life Skill meaning your child will learn respect, discipline, focus, self-control and more.

It is our mission to bring an understanding of the ways of traditional martial arts to all people. About HEADMASTER KIM
Head Master Yong Jun Kim is the owner and founder of Moohan Martial Arts. He began his studies in Korea, majoring in Taekwondo and other Martial Arts at Chun Nam Technical College. He is a 6 th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. He also holds degrees in many other styles of martial arts including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Hapkido, Kumdo and Muay Thai. He moved to the United States in 2000 to begin his journey sharing his passion and love of Martial Arts with the Western World.
He continues to study different forms of Martial Arts to this day. His passion for Martial Arts can
be seen through his dedication to teaching them in order to spread this way of life. Head Master
Kim has worked hard to create the best team to help him reach this goal.
Our Instructors
When selecting instructors we select outstanding men and women who have both a high level of martial arts skills and a passion for sharing them with others. We are confident that while watching any of our staff in action that you will see that our instructors love what they do!
Each of our classes is staffed by a leadership team of black belts as well as a Main instructor. This ensure that students receive personal attention and quality instruction.

Besides just teaching Martial Arts, we also have a lot of family events such as Open House, Family hiking and Break-a-thon for charity among other events. Moohan Martial Arts east Cumming has convenient locations for training and studying martial arts in east Cumming area. We offer classes for Kid Tiger (ages 3 to 5), Jr Classes, Families and Teen and Adults. Our Moohan Martial Arts facilities feature training areas with matted floors, providing a high-quality, clean and safe environment for our students. Parents and friends are welcome to watch in our guest viewing area.
ABOUT US
Moohan Martial Arts West Cumming is licensed KUKKIWON School, international governing body of Taekwondo from KOREA. Our Masters and instructor are officially certified and we are a World Taekwondo Federation school, governing body of official Olympic Sport Taekwondo.
